An Unseen World part 4
There are certain plants
which we shall soon learn
about that are so small you
could put 250,000
of them on the period
at the end of this
sentence and there
are animals that are
not much bigger.
No matter how closely
you look at the paper
on which these words
are printed it will still
look like a fairly
smooth surface but
if your eyes could
see much smaller things
than they naturally
can you would see
that the paper
is really a twisted
mass of fibers.
There are hundreds
of details about
the world that
are too small for
your untaided eyes
to see how then
do we learn about
these detail what
can we use to aid
our eyes in seeing
the unseen world
of very small thing
that are all around
us we can use an
instrument called
a micrope.
